Project

Modelling, rendering, design, visual identity, fair presentation

PROJECT STARTING POINTS

The project was based on the following starting points: the hull was already made on the basis of a nautical study, an interior mockup was designed, and layouts were defined.

The hull of the vessel was designed by nautical architect Andrej Justin. The layout of the interiors was outlined.

INTERIOR AND DECK DESIGN

Our work has covered everything from modelling, rendering, design and usability solutions.

Colour studies, usability tests, A/B tests, 3D modelling and consultations with a group of engineers and sailors were performed for each installed element.

The project was special in two aspects: The team consisted of the sailors, who had a good understanding of the field and the overall context of the project. In addition, there was enough time for realization.

SKETCHING

Each of the elements had to be designed according to the overall vision of the boat. This was followed by the preparation of sketches and their conversion into 3D models. Prior to integrating into the final product, we additionally tested and upgraded them, thus obtaining optimal solutions for the problems given.

LOGO, VISUAL IDENTITY, PRINTED DESIGN AND FAIR PRESENTATION

Our work also included full visual support for the project. As this was the client’s first product, we designed a logo and corporate identity for the client. We also designed supporting materials for the fair presentation and produced all types of printed items: promotional catalogues, brochures, leaflets and roll-ups.
